Men sought on CCTV after serious disturbance ahead of Old Firm match

Police have asked the three men or anyone with information related to them get in contact.

Images of three men who may have information relating to a serious disturbance in Glasgow’s Gallowgate area before an Old Firm match have been released by police.

The disturbance occurred at around 10.45am on May 1, 2022, and officers are now urging the men pictured or anyone who has information relating to them to contact the police.

The first male pictured is described as bald with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with a white emblem on the chest, black shorts, and black trainers.

He also had a scarf which was removed during the disturbance.

The second male is described as being of a medium build with dark hair and dark facial hair.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket with white emblem on chest, dark navy jeans and white trainers.

The third male is described as being of heavy build with short fair hair, and clean shaven.

He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black t-shirt with green emblem on chest and black shorts.

Police Sergeant Gerry Orr, of Greater Glasgow divisional violence reduction unit, said: “I would urge each of these three men, or anyone who has information relating to any of these three men, depicted in the images to make contact with the police.

“Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via the 101 non-emergency telephone number quoting incident number 0832 of May 1, 2022 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
