Google MapsPolice have launched an investigation into the unexplained death of a woman in Ayr.
The 58-year-old woman’s body was discovered by police at a property on Noltmire Road at around 9am on Thursday.
Her death is currently being treated as unexplained and further enquiries are pending.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Thursday, May 19, 2022, police were called to a property on Noltmire Road, Ayr, following the death of a 58-year-old woman.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained at this time, pending further enquiries.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
