iStockAn investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was discovered at a flat in Glasgow.
Police were called to the property on Elmvale Street around 10.15am on Monday after the body was found.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and officers remain in the area carrying out investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An investigation is under way following the discovery of a woman’s body within a flat in Elmvale Street, Glasgow.
“Officers were notified around 10.15am on Monday, August 26, 2024. The inquiry is at an early stage and the death is being treated as unexplained.
“Officers remain in the area and enquiries are ongoing.”
