A man has been found dead in a property in North Lanarkshire with police treating the death as “unexplained.”
Officers were called to a house in Shiel Gardens, Shotts at around 8.20am on Thursday where a man was pronounced dead.
Police said enquiries are ongoing but the death is currently being treated as “unexplained.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.20am on Thursday, May 9, 2024, officers were called to a property in Shiel Gardens, Shotts, where a man was pronounced dead.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
