Police investigating 'unexplained' death of man discovered on street

Police are investigating the “unexplained” death of a man found dead in Glasgow’s West End.

Emergency services were called to Byres Road around 6.50am on Saturday, June 8 following concern for a person.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Investigations are currently ongoing and the road has been closed near the junction with Dumbarton Road.

Members of the public are being urged to avoid the Byres Road area and use alternative routes.
