Police are investigating after a gun was discovered inside a house in Glasgow.
Officers were called when the firearm was found within a property on Barfillan Drive at around 10.15am on Monday.
Police recovered the weapon and confirmed that a probe had been launched into how it came to be there.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We can confirm that a firearm was found within a property in Barfillan Drive in Glasgow at around 10.15am on Monday, May 10.
“It was safely recovered and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
