A hunt has been launched for a gang after a teenager was attacked in Greenock.
A 17-year-old boy was seriously assaulted in the Westburn Street and Nicholson Street areas of the town between 8pm and 10.50pm on Saturday.
The teenager took himself to Inverclyde Royal Hospital for treatment of his injuries and was later discharged.
Police are now searching for four male youths seen in the area at the time.

The force is urging anyone with information regarding the attack to come forward.
Detective constable Ruth Elder said: “We are asking anyone who saw what happened or knows the group involved to get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to trace the group of youths seen at the time of the assault.
“If you were driving in the area at the time can you please check dash-cam footage to see if you have captured anything that would help with our investigation.
“Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0455 of March, 30.”
