Police ScotlandPolice are “growing increasingly concerned” following the disappearance of a teenager in Paisley.
Thomas Smith was last seen in the Fountain Gardens area of the Renfrewshire town at around 1.30pm on Saturday.
The 16-year-old is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with short red/auburn hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and white Nike trainers.
Thomas is known to have links to the Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Gorebridge and Musselburgh areas.
Sergeant Brian Nesbitt said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Thomas’s wellbeing and it is important that we trace him and confirm he is safe and well.
“We would ask anyone who thinks they may have seen him, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts, to please get in touch.”
