A missing man last seen walking towards a busy road in Ayrshire has been found.

William Johnstone was last seen in the Bellfield Interchange area of Kilmarnock and was heading towards the A76 around 12.35am on Tuesday.

Police confirmed the 27-year-old has since been traced.
