Police are “extremely concerned” for a 14-year-old girl who is missing from Greenock.

Katie Keddie was last seen on Friday morning in the Gateside Avenue area of Glasgow, after being reported missing at 9.40am on the same day.

The teenager has not been seen since and there are growing concerns for her welfare.

Katie is described as 5ft 5, with long brown hair and when last seen was wearing black glasses, black Adidas leggings with a white logo on calf, black and white Converse trainers, a school uniform shirt and tie, black quilted jacket and carrying a school bag.

Police sergeant Jason Logsdon of Inverclyde Police Station said: “We are extremely concerned for Katie and would ask that anyone who knows where she is to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 0913 of April 29.”
