The body of an 80-year-old man was found in water at Helensburgh Pier on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called shortly after 11am on July 10.
Police have confirmed that there are no apparent circumstances surrounding the death, but enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
The man’s next of kin has been notified and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a body of an 80-year-old man found in the water at Helensburgh Pier around 11.05am on Sunday, July 10.
“His next of kin are aware and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“However, there are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
