Police concerned for welfare of man missing from Glasgow Police Scotland

Police are appealing for information in the search for a missing man from Glasgow.

Robert Munro, 56, was reported missing from the Govan Road area of the city.

He was last seen at around 4.20pm on Friday, August 12.

Mr Munro is described as being white, around 5ft 8ins, with a medium build and a shaved head.

The 56-year-old was wearing bright green shorts, a black T-shirt with a large logo on the front, black trainers and a black flat cap. He was carrying a black bum-bag.

Officers say that Mr Munro has connections in the Kelvindale Road area of the city.

Inspector Gary Montgomerie said: “We are concerned about Robert’s welfare and asking anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“Anyone who can assist is asked to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 2789 of Friday, August 12, 2022.”
