A man has been charged after “causing concern to members of the public” near a park in Cumbernauld.
Police were called to Clouden Road around 5.10pm on Thursday after reports of the man’s behaviour.
Officers arrested and charged a 50-year-old man in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025, police received a report a man’s behaviour was causing concern to members of the public on Clouden Road, Cumbernauld.
“Officers attended and a 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“He was due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Friday, 2 May, 2025.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
