Police are aware of an incident involving a fan allegedly mocking the Ibrox disaster at the Old Firm derby.
Officers are investigating after a Celtic supporter allegedly mocked the tragedy during Rangers’ 2-2 draw with their Glasgow rivals at Ibrox on Sunday.
Police arrested a number of people in connection with various incidents during the clash in Glasgow.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault.
Additionally, an 18-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with possessing a sectarian flag.
Both are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with drugs offences, and has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date
A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with a drugs offence and issued with a recorded police warning.
Another 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with an assault and issued a recorded police warning.
A further 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault and released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
Rangers and Celtic have been contacted for comment.
