Police attend park over fears for person stuck in water

Emergency services are in attendance at a Glasgow Park after concerns were raised over a person stuck in water.

Police received reports of someone getting into difficulty in the water at Pollok Country Park at around 5.10pm on Tuesday.

Emergency services remain at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.10pm on Tuesday, 30 June, 2020, police responded to a report of a concern for a person in the water at Pollok Country Park, Glasgow.

“Emergency services are currently in attendance.”

The person’s condition is not known at this stage.
