Police are appealing for help to find a 40-year-old woman who has been missing since the early hours of Saturday morning.
Gillian Higgins was last seen leaving her home on Carwood Street in Greenock at around 4am on January 9.
She is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall with long fair hair and blue eyes.
Constable Michael Donnelly, of Greenock Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned about Gillian and are looking for the public’s help to trace her safe and well.
“She was last seen leaving her home address in the early hours and we would ask anyone who may have seen Gillian or has any knowledge on her whereabouts to contact police.
“If you have any information that could assist with our enquiries, I would ask that you speak to officers.
“Police can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 0616 of Saturday, 9 January, 2021.”
