Police have appealed for information in the search for a man reported missing in Argyll and Bute.
Neil Scott, 58, was reported missing from his home in Burnside Street, Campbeltown at around 10:15 am on Thursday, July 8.
He was last seen at the Co-Op store in the area at around 1 pm on Tuesday, July 6 and is believed to have attended the local post office shortly after.
Neil is described as being around 5ft 10in in height, of medium build with thinning grey/white hair.
He was last seen wearing a black thigh-length winter coat with a hood and reflective white stripes on two zips on the chest area.
He was also wearing faded blue jeans, a dark coloured cap and beige walking boots.
Inspector Ross MacDonald said: “There are real concerns for Neil’s welfare and it is vital we trace him as soon as possible.
“Neil is known to go walking in the area with his dog, an elderly cross breed collie, and we are urging people to keep a look out for them and report any potential sightings to police.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 0984 of July 8, 2021.”
