Police are appealing for witnesses following the alleged serious assault of a man in Saltcoats.
A 33-year-old man was injured during an incident on Old Raise Road in the North Ayrshire town between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday March 7.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
Police say the suspect is described as aged between 30 and 35 years old, with brown hair. He was wearing a green jacket and dark trousers.
Detective Constable Fraser Barr said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or saw a man matching the description in the area to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV that could assist to get in touch.”
