© Google Maps 2024Road policing officers are appealing for information after a motorcyclist has been left in a critical condition following a collision with a van at an industrial estate in Kilmarnock.
Officers shut down Moorfield Industrial Estate following the incident which happened at around 2.10pm on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old male rider of the motorbike was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The 39-year-old male driver of the van was uninjured.
The road was closed for around four hours while crash investigations were carried out.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who saw what happened or anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the area at the time to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1863 of June 7, 2022.
