Police are appealing for help from the public in the search for a missing pensioner.

Thomas Marshall, 67, was reported missing from his home in Airdrie on Monday, July 11.

He was last seen at around 4pm at Airdrie Train Station where he boarded a train bound for Edinburgh.

Mr Marshall is described as being white, 5ft 10in tall, and of medium build.

He is bald and was wearing a grey hat, a pink jumper, a black body warmer and blue Fila trainers.

The 67-year-old is known to use the assistance of two crutches.

Sergeant Stewart McDonald, Airdrie Police Station, said: “Thomas uses public transport extensively so could have travelled anywhere in the country.

“He has no mobile phone with him and his family are concerned about him.

“If you have any information as to his whereabouts, then please call Police Scotland via 101 quoting reference number 3905 of Monday, July 11, 2022.”
