Two pensioners have been taken to hospital after crashing into a garden wall in South Lanarkshire.
An 87-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman are receiving treatment at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow following the incident on Kirk Street in Strathaven on Sunday morning.
Pictures from the scene showed Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of a one-car crash on Kirk Street, Strathaven around 11.25am on Sunday, 2 July, 2023.
“An 87-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.”
