Police ScotlandA man has died in a car crash on the M8 in Glasgow.
The 71-year-old was driving a black Jaguar XF when it collided with a number of vehicles before coming to a stop on the hard shoulder.
No one else was injured in the incident that took place on the eastbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 13 at Riddrie at around 2.30pm on Friday.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A spokesman for the force said: “Anyone who may have seen what happened or who has dash-cam footage that could help with the investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101.”
