Google MapsA man has been charged in connection with an alleged indecent act at a country park in Kilmarnock.
Police were called to Dean Castle Country Park around 1pm on January 3 following reports of a man performing an indecent act.
A 71-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 1pm on Friday, January 3, 2025, officers attended Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock, following a report of a man performing an indecent act.
“A 71-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, January 6, 2025.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
