An elderly pedestrian who died in a fatal crash in Kilmarnock has been named.
Andrew Dick, 93, was hit by a green BMW 525 in Fowlds Street at around 2.40pm on Wednesday November 19.
He was taken to hospital, but later died on Thursday.
Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
Sergeant Brian Simpson, Ayrshire Roads Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died as a result of this crash.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.
“I would also appeal for anyone who was in the area and has dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.”
