A man was taken to hospital on Saturday night after being hit by a car on a busy road in West Dunbartonshire.
At around 10.20pm on January 7, police were called to reports of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Dumbarton Road in Clydebank.
The 65-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment while the driver of the car was not injured.
Following the crash, the road was closed for a period before it reopened just after midnight.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10.20pm on Saturday, January 7, to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Dumbarton Road, Clydebank.
“The pedestrian, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
“The road was closed and re-opened just after midnight.”
