A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Glasgow city centre.
Police were called to a collision involving a male pedestrian and a bus on Gorbals Street, near to Cleland Street in Laurieston around 7.10pm on Thursday.
The man has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Gorbals Street between Cleland Street and Norfolk Street is closed while emergency services are on the scene.
Officers say diversions are in place.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Around 7.10pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, police were called to a collision involving a male pedestrian and a bus on Gorbals Street, near to Cleland Street, Laurieston, Glasgow.
“The pedestrian has been taken by ambulance to The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
“Gorbals Street between Cleland Street and Norfolk Street is closed whilst and emergency services are at the scene.
“Diversions are in place.”
