Police are investigating a crash in Glasgow which saw a pedestrian rushed to hospital.

Emergency services raced to Kilmarnock Road at its junction with Pollokshaws Road between 8.50am and 9.30am on Friday June 30 2023.

The 58-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The incident involved a red Ford Fiesta.

Police Scotland is appealing for information.

Constable Elizabeth Eagan said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.

“In addition, anyone who may have been driving in the area around the time of the incident and has dash-cam footage is asked to contact police.

“If you can assist, please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0878 of Friday, 30 June, 2023.”
