Pedestrian injured after being struck by car on pavement

A 58-year-old man has been left seriously injured after a crash in Glasgow.

A man has been left seriously injured after a car mounted the pavement and struck him after a crash in Glasgow.

The 58-year-old pedestrian was walking on Holmhead Crescent, Cathcart when the incident took place at around 5.05pm on Wednesday.

He was hit after a black Lexus collided with a grey Audi which was then knocked on to the pavement.

The injured man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe his injuries are described as serious.

The 64-year-old driver of the Audi suffered minor injuries, while the driver of the Lexus was uninjured.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch with information or dash cam footage.
