Patient who absconded while attending dentist appointment found

A patient who absconded from a secure unit while attending a dental appointment in Ayrshire has been traced.

On Friday, a search was launched for Owen Bonner, who had absconded while on escorted leave.

The public were advised not to approach him as police launched an appeal for any witnesses over his whereabouts.

On Monday, officers confirmed Owen Bonnar had been traced.
