An investigation has been launched after a stone was thrown at the window of a moving train in Glasgow.

Several passengers were left covered in broken glass following the incident on December 27.

The train was targeted as it travelled between Barrhead and Priesthill & Darnley stations around 6pm.

British Transport Police are investigating and have urged anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by calling 0800 40 50 40, with reference number 411 of December 27.
