iStockA power cut has hit homes and businesses across parts of Glasgow’s West End.
Scottish Power said its engineers have been sent out to fix the issue affecting areas including Broomhill and Thornwood.
“There is a power cut affecting the G11 and G14 postcode areas of Glasgow,” the company said.
“Our engineers are en route to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible.”
Scottish Power said it expects electricity to be restored in the area by around 10.15am.
Meanwhile, a more localised power cut has hit the G72 8HT postcode.
Those who require support are urged to call the firm on 105.
