Part of the M8 has been blocked due to a rush hour crash in Glasgow.

Traffic Scotland confirmed that lane one of the eastbound carriageway on the Kingston Bridge was blocked around 7.10 on Thursday morning.

They added that police were in attendance at the scene.

Drivers have been warned to take care on their approach as traffic continues to build.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
