Parents have raised concerns after they were made aware of pupils at an East Dunbartonshire school referencing P Diddy.
It has emerged parents and carers of children who attend Holy Family Primary School in Lenzie received an email, seen by STV News, which states that “some” primary four students have mentioned the disgraced hip-hop star.
The issue was raised by worried parents to the school.
The context of the conversations are not known, however, the email states “it clearly relates in some way to the ongoing criminal case”.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is accused of sex trafficking at least three women and of once dangling someone off a hotel balcony during a two-decade racketeering conspiracy. He is scheduled to stand trial in May.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges lodged against him after his September arrest and is currently incarcerated without bail.
The email sent to parents says this “subject should not be referenced in school”.
Parents and carers have been asked to remind children that the case should not be discussed on school grounds.
East Dunbartonshire council chief education officer, Greg Bremner, confirmed the action was taken by the school after concerns were raised.
