A woman missing from Paisley for five days may have travelled by bus and train to Aberdeenshire.

Katie Barrass, 21, was last seen in the Love Street area at around 1.10pm on Thursday, March 14.

Police believe she may have travelled to the Ellon area of Aberdeenshire.

She is described as white, 5ft10, of medium build with long brown hair, blue eyes and fair complexion.

It is not known what she was wearing at the time.

Sergeant Callum MacLeod, Paisley police station, said: “We believe that Katie may have travelled by bus and train to the Ellon area of Aberdeenshire.

“We have been liaising with colleagues at British Transport Police and local bus companies, however, so far there has been no trace of her.

“If you have seen Katie or know where she is then please get in touch with police via 101.

“Please quote incident number 2215 of Tuesday, March 19 2024 when calling.”
