A support worker who touched a colleague inappropriately initially blamed his actions on what she was wearing.

Adebola Kudoro was working as a support worker with Caring Hearts Renfrewshire in Paisley when the incidents occurred on or around April 21, 2025.

He was given a warning to stay on his registration for a period of 60 months following an investigation by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

The watchdog found Kudoro, on more than one occasion, passed behind his colleague at close proximity when there was no requirement to do so, resulting in his body pressing against her back.

While in a car with his colleague, it was alleged he touched her inner leg, breast and back.

He is also alleged to have, on more than one occasion, when attending visits with his colleague, looked at her bottom, causing her distress.

According to the watchdog, Kudoro denied the behaviour but displayed a “significant level of insight, regret, and apology for his attitude” towards his colleague.

The report read: “The SSSC considered the behaviours to be attitudinal in nature and of a higher seriousness. You acted in a sexually motivated manner on a number of occasions towards her, causing her distress.

“While you denied the behaviour, your initial comments to your employer showed an extreme lack of insight, as you suggested the incidents were the fault of her due to what she was wearing at the time.

“While you continue to deny the behaviours, you have reflected on the comments you had made and how they were inappropriate and unprofessional.

“You have also expressed regret with hindsight and understand the severity of the behaviours alleged.”
