An investigation has been launched after two people were reportedly having sex on a train.
The incident occurred on the 3.46pm ScotRail service between Alloa and Glasgow Queen Street on Monday.
Two individuals were asked to get off the train at Lenzie Station by an on board conductor.
The British Transport Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
A spokesperson from the force said: “We received a report of a sexual activity taking place onboard the 3.46pm train from Alloa to Glasgow Queen Street on Monday (March 17).
“The two people involved were asked to leave the service at the next stop by the on board conductor. Officers are now investigating this incident.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 458 of March 18.”
Phil Campbell, ScotRail customer operations director, added: “We’re aware of an incident on board one of our trains on Monday afternoon, which has been reported to British Transport Police.”
