An overturned car has caused long tailbacks on the M8 during rush hour on Wednesday morning.
Traffic Scotland said both lanes westbound were affected by the vehicle from 7.50am near Junction 6A Chapelhall.
The motorway was shut at 8.45am with delays of around 25 minutes.
Trapped traffic could pass using the chevrons but vehicles could not join the M8 from the westbound entry slip road at Junction 6 Newhouse.
