An open air market is coming to Bellahouston Park next month outside the House for an Art Lover.
The southside venue will see 13 stalls set up on July 18, selling items including clothes and jewellery.
Running from 12pm to 8pm, visitors will also be able to grab food and there will be two bars.
The event was granted a licence on Wednesday as Craigton Community Council raised concerns over a potential increase in litter and a lack of space for parking.
In a comment submitted to the licensing and regulatory committee, they also said there was a lack of clarity about where the stalls would be located.
A representative of Big Feed who was applying for the licence said there would be “ample parking” and the event will attract families with four or five people in a car.
He also said security personnel would be present.
The event will take place in the grounds of the House for an Art Lover with capacity for 499 people.
Councillors sitting on the licensing and regulatory committee approved the temporary market operators licence this morning subject to conditions.
