One woman in hospital and residents evacuated after flat block fire 

One woman has been taken to hospital, and a number of residents have been evacuated after a flat block fire in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Saracen Street at around 6.55pm following reports of a blaze.

Residents were evacuated from the building, with some being checked over at the scene.

One woman was taken to hospital to be assessed.

The road has since reopened and an investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
