One man and two women were rushed to hospital following a three-car crash in Dumfries.
The incident occurred on the A75 on Monday around 4pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the village of Mouswald after the three vehicles collided.
A man and two women were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
The road was closed for two hours while enquiries were carried out at the scene.
Police have now called for any witnesses to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving three cars on the A75 near Mouswald, Dumfries, around 4pm on Monday, January 30.
“Emergency services attended and one man and two women were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Recovery was arranged and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.”
