Police ScotlandPolice Scotland say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” after a teenage girl disappeared in an Ayrshire town on Tuesday.
Chloe Gallagher was last seen in the Vernon Street area of Saltcoats at around midday.
The 17-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, with distinct red or auburn hair.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a half-length black puffer style jacket, with a furry hood, black leggings and white and pink trainers.
Sergeant Barry Hendren said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Chloe and need to make sure she is safe.
“If anyone has seen her or someone matching her description please get in touch with police. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0973 of December 9 2025.”
