A number of people have been injured after a bus was involved in a three-vehicle collision in Argyll and Bute.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Tuesday afternoon just outside of Lochgilphead.
The Citylink bus was travelling between Campbeltown and Glasgow when it was involved in the collision.
Police confirmed a “number of people” have been taken to hospital following the crash.
Citylink said that due to the collision, which has closed part of the A83, services on the route would divert via Oban, meaning seven stops are unable to be served.
“A Scottish Citylink bus was involved in a Road Traffic Incident on 8 April 2025 shortly after 4pm. The 926 service was travelling southbound on the A83 between Lochgilphead and Castleton when it was in collision with one other vehicle.
“A full investigation into the incident will be carried out by Scottish Citylink, and we are co-operating fully with the authorities.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, we received a report of a crash involving a bus, van and car on the A83 Lingerton south of Lochgilphead.
“A number of people were injured and taken to hospital.”
