There are no trains running between Glasgow and Edinburgh on Sunday due to engineering work and strike action, ScotRail has said.
The rail operator also stated that there will not be any replacement buses running between the two cities.
It comes after hundreds of train engineers from the Unite union voted for industrial action.
Strikes are expected to take place from mid-September after nearly four in five (78%) of Unite-affiliated workers who maintain and fix ScotRail trains backed strike action.
Negotiations between ScotRail and Unite about pay, working conditions and redundancies broke down last month.
ScotRail has maintained that there is no extra money because of the coronavirus pandemic, whilst the union say that workers have not been treated with respect.
Last month, ScotRail indicated that it will cut hundreds of train services as it ruled out a return to pre-pandemic timetables.
It is expected to see a decrease in services from 2400 per day to 2100 from May 2022.
The rail operator has pledged that the changes, which are subject to consultation, will see a ‘better performing’ timetable.
The ScotRail franchise is operated by Dutch firm Abellio but will be nationalised in March 2022 and run by the Scottish Government as an “operator of last resort”.
