Investigators have established no criminality after human remains were found in a Renfrewshire construction site on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Paisley’s Orchard Street at around 12.40pm after the discovery.
Extensive enquiries were carried out, however, no criminality was established.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, we were called to a report of human remains having been found at a construction site in the Orchard Street area of Paisley.
“Extensive enquiries were carried out and there is nothing to suggest any criminality.”
