No chemical leak found after person treated at scene and residents evacuated

Police say no chemical leak was found after one person was treated at the scene and residents evacuated in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to a report of a possible chemical leak at a property on Killearn Street around 5.50pm on Wednesday.

Nearby properties were evacuated for a short time as a precaution, and one person received treatment at the scene.

Officers say enquiries were carried out and it was established there was no chemical leak.

There was no risk to the wider public, a statement read.
