A nine-year-old girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.
The collision occurred on Archerhill Road in Knightswood at around 8.40pm on Thursday.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance, were called to the scene, and a nine-year-old girl was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 8.36pm on Thursday, July 16 to attend an incident on Archerhill Road, Knightswood.
“We dispatched two ambulances to the scene, and transported one patient to Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.”
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
The road was closed for a short time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40pm on Thursday, July 16, we received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Archerhill Road in Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and the pedestrian, a nine-year-old girl, was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children as a precaution.
“The road was closed for a short time.”
