A new indoor inflatable fun park will host adult-only nights to allow older daredevils to “unleash their inner child”.
Inflatastation, in North Ayrshire, features slides, assault courses, a climbing wall, ninja run, jelly mountain, basketball, football and “tons more”.
It is set to open in Irvine on July 19.
Jack Quirk, manager of the 15,000 sq ft inflatable park, told STV News that the adult-only nights will take place on Saturdays and Tuesdays between 6pm and 8pm.
He said: “We aim to provide an environment where anyone aged 18 and over can come and enjoy themselves and unleash their inner child without the park being full of children.
“We will have disco lights and a mix of great tunes and we are looking to implement alcohol and cocktails down the line if this is something customers want.”
As well as a ‘club night’ for older children and teenagers on Friday nights, there is also an area specifically for those aged four and under.
There is also a cafe, where spectators can relax, and an unlimited slushee bar with eight flavours to choose from.
Mr Quirk said: “We wanted to do something in Ayrshire as we feel there is a distinct lack of fun things to do for those aged six and over in the area.”
The park is based within South Newmoor Industrial Estate, with plenty of car parking and a bus stop outside.
Mr Quirk added: “We open from July 19 due to Covid restrictions, but we are all set up and staff are raring to go.
“The second we are allowed to open our doors to customers, we’ll be ready to provide the most fun Ayrshire has to offer.”
