Network rail issued a warning after they received a report of children “playing games on the railway” in Glasgow.

The transport provider took to Twitter on Friday night as they urged parents to “speak to kids about the dangers of the tracks” following the incident in the city’s east end.

They wrote: “In the last few minutes, we’ve had reports of two young children playing games on the railway in the east end of Glasgow.

“Parents, please speak to your kids about the dangers of the tracks.

“We want to see everyone get home safe each day.”
