Glasgow’s Riverside Museum is set to be turned into a haunted disco for two feature club nights this Halloween.

Melting Pot and Optimo have teamed up to take over the museum for a Halloween extravaganza – with revellers invited to party among the old trams, trains, vintage bars, subway stations and the “oldest and spookiest” street in Glasgow.

Optimo will take over the space on Friday, November 1, with JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes bringing the night “back to life” after a 14-year hiatus.

On Saturday, November 2, Melting Pot’s annual Halloween Party will celebrate with stilt walkers, drag dancers and a soundtrack spanning three decades.

Optimo’s Jonnie Wilkes said: “Just when we thought we were out, we get dragged back in – Optimo Halloween is back. If you’re gonna get down, get down and pray!”

Mark Mackechnie, director of Melting Pot, added: “The disco bloodbath returns for one night only and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the Museum for our annual Halloween party in the most amazing of venues.

“Get dressed up and get your disco on!”
