Multiple rail services to and from Glasgow have been cancelled or delayed due to flooding.
On Tuesday, ScotRail confirmed that all trains to and from Queen Street High Level station are subject to disruption due to flooding in Bishopbriggs.
Network Rail added that one line is closed with the opposite line being used for trains travelling in either direction, one at a time.
Floodwater at least three inches above the rails on the Maryhill line was also reported, with the line closed.
West Highland Line services will be diverted via Springburn where possible.
ScotRail said rail tickets can be used on Whitelaws buses, between Larkhall, Hamilton and Motherwell (numbers 250,253,254,255,256).
Multiple signalling faults have also been reported between Exhibition Centre and Argyle Street in both directions.
The M8 at junction 19 has been closed due to surface flooding, with drivers urged to use alternative routes until further notice.
STV meteorologist Sean Batty estimated 10-15mm of rain fell within a few hours, equivalent to around five days worth of rain.
A spokesperson for ScotRail said: “Services operating from Glasgow Queen Street are experiencing disruption as a result of flooding on the track.
“Services have been reduced, and passengers are being advised to check their journey on the ScotRail website and app and to make alternative travel arrangements where possible.”
